Session 12 - Rev. Bridget Steenkamp & Joan Truby: A global opportunity to explore Journeys in Child Theology
Some preliminary findings from a child-led Theological Action Research journey. Bridget will discuss highlights from the process of gaining ethics and research clearance for preschool child-led action research. Bridget and Joan will discuss the role of the outsider adult reflective group by modelling how to think theologically about the Theological Action Research produced by one of the child-researchers.

About the speakers
Rev. Bridget Steenkamp
Bridget Steenkamp is a DTh research student at the University of Roehampton. She is currently writing up her DTh thesis and incorporating the voices of the 33 child-researchers' findings, in addition to running sustainability workshops at the University of Roehampton and volunteering as a Godly Play storyteller and advocate.
Joan Truby
Joan Truby when not working as a play therapist works at her daughter's preschool. She is a Godly Play and La Leche League leader in South Africa. Joan has also studied theology.
